Webinar entitled "The Use of Personal Health Information for Research: A Tale of Three Provinces (Part II)" by Anita Fineberg is scheduled for 4th April 2012. This webinar will describe the consent requirements when disclosing data for research purposes in Alberta and BC. We had received many questions about consent for research (in the context of database research) and this webinar will address the key issues around that for these two provinces, as well as other common queries about how privacy laws treat research.
