Information Managers Ltd is looking for a team member who is self-motivated with a strong desire to learn; must have excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to multi-task and work under pressure; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and must show commitment to accuracy and efficiency in work. You will provide project based administration support, client services, marketing and event logistics support.
This unique support role will be working primarily from their own (home) office location. Hours of work are flexible and must include some hours during traditional business hours. Contracted hours will vary with projects. Contractor will provide own work location (secure home office is acceptable) including computer and internet connection.
Successful candidates will demonstrate
• Strong entrepreneur interest in business management
• Experience in health care industry required. Interest in primary health care, office automation, electronic medical records, privacy, security principles an asset. This is an ideal opportunity for a student in a medical office assistant, medical transcription, health information management or similar program.
• Advanced user MS Word, Power Point, Excel. Proficient keyboarding, proofreading, and editing are required. Willingness to learn internet and web design tools.
• Mature administrative writing skills, professionalism, problem solving, and team work, commitment to client satisfaction.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete skill tests.
Time required: will vary by project, average 10-20 hours per week
